Meat dressing is a French-style dish made for thanksgiving in Canada. It is made with ground beef, bread, and fresh seasonings of pepper. Itâs little spicy, juicy meat that is amazing to enjoy during dinner.
Serving size: 12
Cooking Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1.5 pounds ground beef
3 tsp pepper
2 cups chicken broth
10 slices bread
Salt to taste
For garnishing
Parsley
Carrot julienned slices
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Add onions, celery, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Add ground beef and salt and pepper. Cook beef until browned. Set aside to cool.
4. In a separate bowl, add 2 cups of chicken broth. Place the bread slices into chicken broth and squeeze water out. Place bread on the clean bowl. Pull apart breads into small pieces.
5. Add ground beef mixture to bread. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Grease muffin pan casserole and place stuffing. Drizzle over some oil. Bake for 45 minutes.
7. Garnish with parsley and carrot julienned slices.
8. Meat dressing is ready.
